As 2013 draws to a end, I would like to say mahalo or thank you to all those who made my artwork company a success this year.
Mahalo to all the beautiful stores who carry my blockprint art line — both the new and established accounts.
Mahalo to all my repeat customers who have become like ohana – bringing me ono food, flowers and hugs at shows, made visits to my studio here on Maui and who continue to give generous compliments.
Mahalo to the new customers who have found me online, at stores or through personal encounters. I hope you are hauʻoli with your purchases.
Mahalo to my husband Fred, daughter Lisa and friend, Lani. You have made it possible for my business to grow with all your kokua. I must also mention friends Esten and Charlene.
Lastly, mahalo to these special islands I call home. I took this photo at a small hidden heiau dedicated to the hula. It is a hike through a tropical forest at the end of the road in Haena, Kauaʻi. Places like this restore me, recharge me and inspire me to continue celebrating the Hawaiian culture through my art.
Hauʻoli Makahiki Hou,
