22nd Annual Native Hawaiian Conference

I will be part of the Hawaiian Makeke for the upcoming 22nd Annual Native Hawaiian Conference at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului, November 14, 2023. This pop up marketplace will be in tents on the lawn with hours from 8am – 3:30pm.  This shopping event will be open to the attendees, the community and visitors.

Made in Maui Festival Nov 3 & 4!

The Made in Maui Festival will be held on November 3rd and 4th, 2023, at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului. I will be in booth 225 on the Central Lawn! Come and see what new blockprint art I will be featuring and as always, come early for best selection as I will have limited hand made inventory.

New this year will be the He’e Nalu (surfboards) Mens T-shirt, and by popular demand, the return of the Ulu Centerpiece Mat in a heat transfer design form. I will have my home decor: Pillow Covers, Table Runners and Drink Mat sets. Clothing: womens dresses, tops and the wahine v-neck Maile/Hula t-shirts. The mens T-shirts in Nalu, Kalo, Wa’a and He’e Nalu original blockprint art.

Friday hours: 1:30-6pm $45 VIP shopping

Saturday hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm $7 admission

 

Ukulele Festival at the MACC!

I will have a crafter table at the upcoming 16th Annual Ukulele Festival on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center! Gates will open at 2:30 and it is free to the public. This is also a fundraiser for those who have been displaced by the tragic fire in August, so donate personal hygiene products, toothbrushes, etc at the donation bins located near the entrance gates.

As I did at Ku Mai Ka Hula, I will be donating a portion of my sales to malama our Lahaina ohana. So far, I have donated my Palapala womens tops, dresses, mens t-shirts and recently made a donation to the Kako’o fund. I will continue to kokua until we are all whole again.

 

Ku Mai Ka Hula at the MACC!

On September 9th, I will have a crafter table at the upcoming Ku Mai Ka Hula competition at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului. I will have my “Hula” t-shirt design on both kane and wahine tops and my “Hula Implement” Pillow Cover along with many more products.

Date: Saturday, September 9, 2023 with solo and group competition the same day this year.

Crafter Hours: 11am – 4pm in the Pavillion outside the Castle Theater.

Made in Hawaii Festival – Booth 1406!

Oahu in August!

I will be at the Made in Hawaii Festival on Oahu, August 18-20, 2023! This much anticipated event is at a new location – the Hawaii Convention Center which is next to the Ala Moana Shopping Center and close to Waikiki.

My booth will be near the entrance in the middle of the room – booth 1406. Come by and see what I’ve been up to for the past 3 years I have not participated in this show because of the pandemic.

Slack Key Festival at the Macc!

I will have a booth at the upcoming Slack Key (Ki Ho’alu) Festival on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center from 1pm – 7pm.. I will have home decor, mens t-shirts, womens clothing, purses, cards and the popular ‘Sale” table!

Mother’s Day Sale at Swap Meet!

I will be in booth #156 this Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Kahului Swap Meet from 7am – noon! I will not be at the Seabury craft fair this year, so come and take advantage of a great sale on my wahine clothing. I will also have my home decor and mens t-shirts for sale. New – the popular Dolman wahine tops are back in stock !

Palapala Mens T-Shirts

My mens t-shirts are sold at in person shows, except the Merrie Monarch, and continue to be popular with those who want simple Hawaiian cultural designs on a shirt.

These t-shirts are a lightweight 4.2 ounce cotton with a smooth hand. They come in slim fit only, so size up to make room for shrinkage. The blockprint art is only on the front of the shirt. Designs are: Kalo, Wa’a or Maile.

Saturday Morning Fair

I have been doing the Saturday Swap Meet in Kahului, weather permitting, as an easy way for customers to find my products. I sell from 7am – noon and try to get a booth in the first row to the right. I always have sales on my wahine clothing!  Text 808-442-2894 for updates.
