This photo was taken from my hotel room at 7am in Hilo on the Big Island. It was pouring rain and then, just for a moment, the skies gave me a makana (gift).
Mahalo to all my customers for purchasing my artwork. I am grateful and honored. Mahalo for all the flowers and gifts of food that you bring me at shows on Oahu and the Big Island. Mahalo to my customers on Maui who bring me treats and offers of kokua at shows.
Mahalo to my Ohana for all their support.
Mahalo to the Hawaiian community for providing opportunities for my artwork and for keeping the culture alive.
Mahalo to those who keep the giving of lei alive, to those who continue to grow native and canoe plants, and those who use the Hawaiian language in their daily lives. All these things add up to keeping Hawai’i Hawaiian!
Mahalo nui for a great 2017 and Hau’oli Makahiki Hou 2018,
